Julia Taudevin (Performer: Dr Faustus)
Julia returned to the UK in March 2004 after working
in Australia for a year. During her time there she played the
Nurse in Our Lady of Sligo (Sydney Belvoire Street
Theatre) and Miss Montgomery in the 1930's thriller, Murder
By Midnight.
Shortly after her return to the UK she played Beatrice
in Much Ado About Nothing, also directed by David
Evans-Rees, in the open air of Greenwich Park.
Other credits include Lydia Languish, The
Rivals (Wimbledon Studio), Luce, The Knight of the
Burning Pestle (National Theatre Studio) Gilda, Alfie
(Finborough) and an open air tour of George Bernard Shaw's The
Inca of Perusalem and Why She Would Not.
Her film work includes the title role in Cath
Ray, which premiered at Cannes in 2003.
