Rebecca Applin (Music: Dr Faustus)
Rebecca studied at Cambridge University (BA Hons)
in Music) and the Royal College of Music (Mmus in Composition
for Screen).
Rebecca’s credits include theatre composition and
musical direction for A Midsummer Night's Dream
(Theatre Royal, Bath), Twelfth Night and Much
Ado About Nothing (RJ Williamson Company), The Comedy
of Errors (Arts Theatre, Cambridge), Richard II
(Logos Theatre Company), Beauty and the Beast, The
Little Match Girl, and The Secrets of Sherwood
(all for Full House Theatre Company).
Rebecca was Musical Director for Wind in the
Willows (Regent's Park Open Air Theatre), and Assistant
Musical Director for Orvin (Stephen Joseph Theatre,
Scarborough).
Film composition credits include: The Chihauhau
Messiah (Film council film, premiered at The Curzon Cinema,
Shaftesbury Avenue), and Solo (winner of the Audience
Award, Beijing film festival).
